Big lots, bluff soils.
Edgemoor sits out on the bluff south of Fairhaven, off roads like Edgemoor Drive, with large lots that run toward the water and Chuckanut beyond. The homes range from solid mid-century houses to large custom builds, and the common thread for a concrete crew is that they sit on bluff soils with a lot of moisture moving through them. When you build or repair near a bluff, water is the design problem.
Our Edgemoor work skews toward two things: foundation drainage and waterproofing to keep that bluff moisture off the wall and out of the crawlspace, and long custom driveways and flatwork that match the scale of the lots. We pour footing drains, exterior waterproofing, and graded driveways that move water off the property instead of letting it pool against a foundation or run down toward the water in a way that erodes the lot.

Soil and water
Bluff soils with high moisture from the marine air and the slope toward the water. Managing where that water goes is the core of foundation, drainage, and driveway work out here.
