Newer homes, new projects.
Barkley is the newer planned community up on the east side, around Barkley Boulevard and the Barkley Village center, built largely from the 1990s onward on engineered lots. The homes are newer and the original foundations are generally sound, so the concrete work here is mostly the next round of projects homeowners take on: upgrading flatwork, adding patios and RV pads, and pouring foundations for ADUs and detached shops on the larger lots.
Because the bones are newer, Barkley work is more about building than repairing. We pour patios and expanded flatwork, RV and trailer pads sized and reinforced for the weight, and footings and slabs for accessory dwelling units and shops as families add on. The lots out here are big enough that ADUs and outbuildings are popular, and those still need a code-correct, properly drained foundation even on newer ground.

Engineered lots in a newer development, generally well-drained, though we still build a proper subbase and grade every pour to shed our rain away from the structure.
